"Over the last couple of months, I worked with Grant and the team at Vidcom re the install of a new AV system. The system needed to meet the needs of a diverse group of users, mainly blind and low vision users and a mixture of skill/knowledge. The simple interface of being able to speak via Alexa, means many of the features can be easily activated. While the system has a touch screen interface, it also has a tactile keypad with Brialle numbers meaning that no matter how one uses the system one can use voice, keypad or the touch screen interface. I wish all systems were as accessible as this system. The inclusion of Auracast and the coil hearing loop again means everyone can access/hear what is being spoken. The use of rechargeable mics is a great step up from what we had, no more flat batteries. Overall, this is one of the most accessible AV systems I have used. Grant and the team were great to work with, listening to feedback and adapting and incorporating accessibility tools and features to ensure that the system is able to be used by the community."
