The Auckland Card Show was a one-day event held at Barfoot & Thompson Stadium, showcasing and dealing in Trading Card Games and related merchandise. The event featured approximately 160 vendor tables, a separate hall for games, and a main stage for presentations, card unboxings, and panel discussions.
With around 3,000 attendees in the main hall throughout the day, the event had 13 sponsors, including Vidcom as a key sponsor. As the first event of its kind on this scale in New Zealand, budget constraints were a challenge, but organisers recognised the necessity of live streaming to ensure the event’s success and continued growth.
